Hello and Howdy! I have been teaching first grade since returning from living overseas for about 20 years. I lived most recently in Hong Kong for 12 years. I have earned my MEd and TESL endorsement. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was mostly in the technology sector. I love combining my love for teaching first grade with technology in order to give students the 21st Century skills they need. Reading is my passion and I enjoy sharing that with my students, so they love to read too. I have a funny little rescue dog named Kramer and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I'm very happy to be a Watson Wrangler!

Aloha! My name is Ms. Kennedy. I love teaching 2nd grade and look forward to teaching and learning with you this year. This is my 24th year teaching. For 7 years I taught 3rd grade, 15 years I taught families in the FACES Family Centers, 1 year in 5th grade and this will be my 2nd year teaching 2nd grade of which I really love! I also love to swim, read and take naps. I am married and have 4 teenage children that keep me very busy and they have one dog, her name is Kona who we all love. My name is Mary Barden, I am excited to join the Watson family. I have been in education for 20 years and began my career in California before moving to Las Vegas 7 years ago. I am the proud mother of 4 adult children, and Grammy to 3 grandchildren. In my free time I like to read, volunteer, and hope to get back to exercising and hiking.
