Hello everyone! This will be my 4th year teaching the KIDS program and 5th overall working in Special Education. I truly enjoy working with my students and team. Everyday is a fun day. I also coach the Lego Robotic Team along with Ms. Schultz. I am a proud Watson parent as well. I am married and have 3 children. In my spare time I love to spend time and travel with my family, specially if it involves Disney or getting in water. Looking forward to meeting all of you and may the force be with you.

My name is Kawana Owens, I am a Specialized Teacher Assistant in the KIDS Autism Program. I have been in the KIDS program since 2006 here at Watson. I have a BA in Social Science with minors in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. I have a wonderful husband and a mother to four beautiful children: Chloe,' Blake, Azavier, Patrick and my fury four-legged spoiled child Milo. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, singing, traveling, crafting and shopping . I am originally from Louisiana (The Boot), and I also visit from time to time. I am grateful for each year God gives me to work with the students and I look forward to a great year!
